HomeMy WebLinkAbout02/09/1933 VB minutes Minutes of the Adjotnnedaketimgrafhlhe Village Board of The Village of Mount Prospect, held in The Village Board Rooms, Vebruary, 9th, 1933 . at The hour of eight o clock P. 111. President Meyn called the meeting to order with Trustees, Budiong, Gaul, Mould, Niebuhr and Wille answering to roll call. Trustee Gaul moved that the minutes of the regular meeting held January, 3rd, 1933 be approved as read. Trustee Gould seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation. The following report of the Village Treasurer was presented to the Board at this time:- GENERAL FUND Receipts Cook County Treasurer (Delinquent 1930 & Prior) 443.91 (Forf. 1930 Tax) 218.66 +� " If n 169.63 Edwin L. D. Busse, Village Treasurer 1 Trustee Budlong moved that the report of the Village Treasurer be accepted.and placed on file. Trustee Wille seconded this motion and the xame carried by vote of acclamation. Trustee Gaul moved that the Treasurers report on receipts and disbursements of Special Assessment Funds be accepted and placed on file. Trustee Wille seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation. � r The Finance Committee presented the following bills and recommended payment of same:- Public Service Company 4268.54 Bonnar- Vawter Form Company 11 Blackwood Inn 14.00N Herman Meyn 22.35• E. Mul s e (Salary) 163.04\ George Wittenberg (Salary) 125.0Qt Illinois Bell Telephone Felix Orfei 15.0Q,„ Trustee Gould moved that the recommendations of the Finance Committee be accepted and that the President and Village Clerk be authorized to issue vouchers in payment of the same. Trustee Budlong seconded this motion and the roll was called with the following results; "Ayes" Trustees Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Willa. None voting "Naye" the President declared the motion carried and the recommendation as accepted and directed that the proper vouchers be issued. Trustee Gaul moved that the Village Clerk be authorized to issue the proper election call for the annual Village +lection to be held April, 18th, 1933 at which time a President of the Village Board and three Trustees should be elected.to the Village Board and one Police Magistrate. Trustee Gould seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation. Trustee Ville moved that the Village Clerk be authorized to purchase the proper election supplies. Trustee Budlong seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation. • There being no further business to come before the Village Board at this time on motion of Trustee Gould seconded bit- Trustee Wille and carried by vote of acclamation same adjourned to meet again it the next regular meeting. /
