Minutes of the Meeting of the Village Board of the Village
of Mount Prospect, Illinois, held September 1, 1931.
The President called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the roll, all responding present except
Trustees Barcroft and Gerken.
The minutes were approved as read.
Special assessment report was referred to the Finance
Committee.
The Treasurers report, as follows, was ordered placed
on file:

Moved by Mr. Budiong, seconded by Mr. Gaul that we adopt
resolution setting November 11 of each year as a Holiday. lion

Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Budiong that Clerk

Moved by Mr. Flesch, seconded by Mr. Lresser to refer
petition regarding sidewalks along Northwest Highway to the
Board of Local Improvements. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Gaul seconded by Mr. Budiong that Clerk
notify R. E. Gray or E. G. Bauptley that the use of firearms in
the Village is prohibited by ordinance, and therefore cannot
issue a permit for a rifle range. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Dresser that we
accept pump upon the recommendation of the engineers.
