Minutes of an adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, Held June 17, 1931.
The President called the meeting to order. The Clerk
called the roll, all responding present.
It was moved by Mr. Dresser, seconded by Mr. Budlong
that an ordinance making an appropriation for corporate purposes , {°,
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, for the fiscal year (I
May 1, 1931, and ending Ap ril 30 , 1932 , be passed. The
beginning
motion carried - Ayes 6 - Nays None.
It was moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Gerken that /
an ordinance creating the Board of Local Improvements for the 7 Hoo
Village of Mount Prospect for the ensuing year be passed.
Roll Call - Ayes 6 - Nays None.
It was moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Budlong that
matter of $157.23, as per auditor's report, be turned over to
the Finance Committee for investigation.
Moved by Mr. Budlong, seconded by Mr. Gaul that auditor's
report be placed on file. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Gerken that matter
of lights for block 16 be referred to the Police and Light Com-
mittee.' Carried.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Gerken that Clerk
get Section 5, Ordinance #48, printed and send copy to eath water
user. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Gerken, seconded by Mr. Budlong that we
oil floor in Village Hall. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Budlong, seconded by Mr. Gaul, that owner
of sidewalk, Lot 22, Hlock 9, Busse & Fillets Resub be notified to
repair same. Carried,
Moved by Mr. Dresser, seconded by Mr. Flesch that
salary of Treasurer for special assessment fund be $25.00 beginning
May 1, 1931. Roll call - Ayes 5 - Nays none.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Dresser that peddling
license be raised to $50.00 per 3tear, $10.00 per month, *2.00
per day. Roll call - ayes 5 - nays none.
Moved by Mr. Dresser, seconded by Mr. Budlong that the
following bills be paid:
E. F. Laurin, auditing $150.00
C. D. Busse, water 120.26
C. D. Busse, vehicle 31.61^
C. D. Busse, special assessment - - - $158.33 ' •
Roll Call - ayes 5 - Nays none.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by "kr. Gerken, that we charge
50¢ for duplicate license plate. Roll Call - ayes 5 - nays none.
Adjourned to June 23, 1931.

June 23, 1931.
The Clerk called the roll, all present except
Trustee Budlong.
Moved by Mr. Barcroft, seconded by Mr. Gaul, that
bids be opened for stop and go light.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by gr. Ggrken that all
bids be rejected because of the fact that bids were over
$500.00.
Dreyer Electric Co. - - $636.36
Brunswick Electric Co. - 634.00
Mount Prospect Electric Co. - 636.36
Johnson Electric Co. - 660.00
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Barcroft, that
we advertise for bids for installing stop and go light bids
to be opened July 7, 1931. Roll call —ayes 5 - nays none.
Moved by Mr. Barcroft, seconded by Mr. Flesch,
that we get Pontiac repaired, also two collored lights put
in head lights. Roll call - ayes 5 - nays none.
Moved by Mr. Flesch, seconded by Mr. Barcroft
that we insure policemen. Roll call - ayes 5 - nays none.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Dresser, that
we get Village cars insured for liability acid property damage.
Roll Call - ayes 5 - nays none.
