The President called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the roll and all the trustees reported present. The minutes of the meeting of September 2, 1930, were approved as read. Carried. Moved by Barcroft, seconded by Gaul that Dick Fredericks paint and clean community hall as per his bid of $28.00. Motion carried -six ayes - No nays. Moved by Gaul, seconded by Budiong to replace stove pipes in community hall and paint same. Roll call - Ayes six - Nays none. Moved by Budiong, seconded by Trustee Gaul that matter of putting in more street lights be referred to street lighting committee for action, as per Public Service Company specifications and plan. Roll call - Ayes..- six - Nays None. Moved by .Trustee Flesch, seconded by Trustee Barcroft to refer matter regarding repairing of boiler in Village Hall to the Public Building Committee for action. Roll call - ayes six - Nays None. Moved by Trustee budlong, seconded by Trustee Flesch to that Village set October 23, 1970, as general pick -up day and chief Mulso make necessary arrangements b take care of same. Carried. coved by Trustee Dresser, seconded by Trustee Flesch to refer repairing of the tractor to committee for action and buy a new housing, also get prices on a new snow plow. Motion carried - Ayes six - Nays None. Moved by Budlong, seconded by Flesch that Christian Day School get a petition from parents if they want Busse Avenue between Elm and Owen Street closed or have a boy patrol at same. Motion carries - Ayes six - Nays None. Moved by Trustee klesch, seconded by Trustee Budlong that the following Public Service permits be granted: To set three poles on north side of Henry Street, one pole west; two poles east of Vyastwood Avenue; also service pipe for Alvin Oehlerking. Motion carried. Moved by Gaul, seconded by klesch to reduce Stresney water bill from $11.35 to $5.68. Motion carried. It was duly moved, seconded and carried that C. Turner's Vehicle License which he lost be replaced. It was moved by Fresser, seconded by Barcroft that request for hospital be tabled until after thirty days of the public hearing, as per ordinance. Motion carried. 3 Moved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Budiong that in instances that property in the village has been sold for non - payment of taxes and an application by the owner to buy the certificate that the owner be charged the amount of the sale price with interest at the rate of six percent at date of sale and the cost of registering the certificate where thepro- perty is registered under the Torrens System. Carried. Moved by Budiong, seconded by Gerken that Clerk be directed to send Keystone -Driller Co. a check for $100.00, balance of their account. roll Call: Ayes six - Nays None. Moved, seconded and carried, meeting adjourn to October 21, 1930. EDWIN L. BUSSE, Village Clerk. 3 c Minutes of a special meeting held October 21, 190 at the Village Hall at eight o'clock P.M. The President called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the roll, all trustees responding present. It was roved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Budlong, to grant Dr. Wolforth, a temporary permit not to exceed one year for a non- contagious hospital, as per recommendation of the Board of Appeals. Roll Call ; Ayes tarcroft, Budlong, Dresser, Flesch, Gaul and G Nays: None. Motion carried six ayes and no nays. Moved. by Trustee Flesch, seconded by Trustee Barcroft to grant H. F. Meyn, John Meyn and U. P. Moehling permit to widen the hi hway in front of their respective lots. Motion carried - Ayes: six. Nays - None. Moved by Trustee Barcroft, seconded by Trustee Flesch that Village have their portion of paving put i at the rate of square yard and 450 for curbing. Roll Call: Ayes: six. Nays - None.
