HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/02/1930 VB minutes Minutes of meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, held at the Village Hall in said Village on September 2nd, 1930. The President called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the roll, all trustees responding present. The minutes of the meeting of August 5th were approved as read. Treasurer report, as follows, was read and ordered placed on file: TREASURER'S REPORT Receipts None Deficit last meeting - $1469.15 Expenditures - 918.38 TOTAL DEFICIT - $ 2387 . 53 VIATER FUND Balance on hand last meeting - $5935.34 Expenditures - BALANCE'- 580.48 $5354.86 WATER LEADS FUND Balance on hand last meeting - 81158.10 TAT ER EXTENSION Balance on hand last meeting - ' 920.41 GENERAL A FUND Balance on hand last {leeting - $ 693.09 Additional engineering cost charged to this fund by error as adjusted by Laurin - 851.00 BALANCE - $1044.09 FIRE TRUCK FUND Balance on hand last meeting - S 128.25 (:: C. ROLL CALL Ayes: Barcroft, Budlon, Dresser, Flesch, Gaul, and Gerken. Nays: None. Motion carried - Ayes 6 - Nays None. It was moved by Trustee Barcroft, seconded by Trustee Flesch that fir. Gaul get in touch with the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad officials about changing thoir hours for the corssing man on Main Street to 8 o'clock A.M., instead of 9 o'clock, for the benefit of the school children. Carried. Moved by Trustee Gerken, seconded by Trustee Gaul that the recommendation of auditor Laurin be put in effect. Carried. Moved by Trustee Gerken, seconded by Trustee Barcroft that 1158.10, balance in water leads fund, be transferred to the water fund. Carried. Moved b Trustee Gerken, seceded by Trustee Gaul that treasurer make a report of all specials at each meeting. Carried. Moved. by Gaul, seconded by Flesch that clerk buy 400 auto and 50 truer_ license for 1931. Roll Ball: Ayes: Earcroft, Budlong, Dresser, Flesch, Gaul and Gerken. Moved by Flesch, seconded by Trustee Gaul that we advertise for bids for a new pump, bids to be opened October 7, 10:40, at 8 o'clock P.M., , Village Hell. Loved by Trustee Flesch, seconded by Trustee Barcroft to cut Latas water bill to conform with his other bills. Carried. Moved by Budlong,_seconded by =lesch that Public Service Permit to serve George -ousse on Albert and Central Road be granted. Carried. There being no further business to come before the meeting, same on motion made, seconded and carried, was adjourned. 0
