The President called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the roll, all trustees responding present. The Minutes of the meeting of July 1, 1930, were approved as read. Treasurer's Report, as follows, was read and ordered placed on file: TREASURER'S REPORT Balance on hand last meeting- $ 630.94 George Busse, building permit 2.50 George Tatge, fines 100.00 Mt. Nays: None. Motion carried, ayes, 6, nays, none. Moved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Flesch that we buy two tires and tubes from Huecker and two tires and tubes from ker. 01; Roll Call (20, Ayes: Barcroft, Budlong, Dresser, Flesch, Gaul and Berken. Nayes: None. Motion carried, ayes 6 - nays, none. Moved by Trustee Flesch, seconded by Trustee Barcroft that Clerk write Keystone Driller Co. to send a man to the meeting of August 12, 1930, to take up matters regarding pump. Carried. It was moved by Trustee Dresser, seconded by Trustee f a,. Budlong that an ordinance providing for the levying and assessment of taxes for the current fiscal year of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, commencing May 1, 1930, and ending April 30, 1931, be passed: Roll Call Ayes: Barcroft, Budlong, Dresser, Flesch, Gaul and Gerken. Nays: None. • Motion carried, ayes six, nays none. Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. uerken that we replace Mulso license plate. Motion carried. Moved by Trustee Flesch, seconded by Trustee Budlong that bond of C. D. Busse be approved. Motion carried, ayes six, nays, none. Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Dresser that we buy envelopes and clerk be directed to issue vouchers for $35.24. Roll Call Ayes, six - nays - none. Moved by Trustee Dresser, seconded by Trustee Budlong that we give officers two weeks vacation as soon as convenient. Roll Call Ayes - six - Nays None. Moved by Flesch, seconded by Barcroft that the following Public Service permits be issued: Service pipes for Albert Hedke - 107 William St. Service pipes for George Busse - 14 S. George St. Service pipes for S. H. Dempsey Repair gas pipe on Wille and Lincoln Streets. Motion carried. Duly moved, seconded and carried that meeting be adjourned to August 12, 1930. It was moved by Trustee Flesch, seconded by Trustee Bar - croft that we deduct 15% from the original contract price of $2180.00 for Keystone pump for inefficiency. Roll Call Ayes: Barcroft, Budlong, Dresser, Flesch, Gaul and Gerken. Nays: None. Motion carried ayes, six - nays, none. Moved by Trustee Barcroft, seconded by Trustee Gaul that lAr. Thal write Chicago and North 'estern Railroad about storing poles, tile, etc., along their right of way between Blm Street gad WWille Street. Motion carried. Moved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Flesch that Mr. Gaul be authorized to buy a filing cabinet, not to exceed $30.00. Roll Call Ayes: Barcroft, Budlong, Dresser, Ilesch, Gaul and Gerken. Nays: None. Motion carried, ayes, six - nays, none. Moved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Dresser that Finance Committee take up matter regarding calling in of bonds with Treasurer. Carried. It was moved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Flesch that auditors report be referred to the rinance Committee for re- commendation and report to the next meeting. Motion carried.
