The Clerk called the roll, all trustees responding present.

It was duly moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee Heide
that said bills be paid and clerk be directed to issue warrants
for same.

Motion carried, ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon it was moved, seconded and carried that letter from
Improvement Association be referred to Police & Light Committee,
they to have recommendation at next meeting.
Thereupon the clerk read an ordinance An Ordinance providing
for and levying and assesment of taxes of the Villt.ge of Mount
Prospect, I11. for the currect fiscal year, beginning May 1,
1928 and ending April 30, 1929.
It was duly moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee .Beigel
that said ordinance be approved.

Motion carried, ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon it was moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee
Heide that ordinance for Geroge St. improvement be passed.

It was moved by Trustee Mecklenburg, seconded by Trustee Heide
that lease for old public school to be used as community hall
be accepted and preseident and clerk be authorized to sign
same in behalf of the village.

Thereupon it was duly moved by Trustee Pohlman, seconded by
Trustee Heide that bond for Wm Mulso be approved. Carried. .
Thereupon the clerk read the following permit:

Gentlemen:
Application is hereby made by the Public Service Go.
to perform work as specified below:
Install 2" gas main in Pine St. from existing main
in Central Road to a point 604 farther north.

It was duly moved seconded and carried that said permit be
granted.
It was moved by Trustee Meckelnburg, seconded by Trustee
Pohlman that Police & Light Committee make arrangements for
a vacation for Wm Mulso. Carried.
It was moved by Trustee Heide, seconded by Trustee Pohlman
that Chairman of Police and Light Committee mit Fire & Water
and Public Grounds Committee be authorized to make sketch and
get figures for addition to Village Hall. Carried.
It was moved seconded and carried that Village Clerk be
dtthobldeto send letter to I11. Bell Telephone Co. in re-
gard to their service.
It was duly moved, seconded and carried meeting adjourned.
