Trustees of the Village of Mount,Prospect, held on the 29th dayof
June, A.D.1927, at the hour of eight.o'ciock P.M.
The meeting was called to order by President Busse and on
call of the roll the following members were found to be present:
Mr. Busse, President, and Messrs. Beigel, Heide, Haas, Mecklentnrg
and Pohlmann.
Absent: Mr. Noll.
The first business to come before the meeting was the matter
of the passage of the annual appropriation ordinance for the fiscal
year commencing May 1, 1927, and ending April 30, 1928. Such ��
ordinance was presented and read by the Clerk and thereupon it was
moved by Mr. Beigel that said ordinance be passed. The motion for
the passage of said ordinance was seconded by Mr. Heide and the roll
called with the following result: Messrs. Beigel, Haas, Heide,
Mecklenburg and Pohlman voting aye. No one voting nay.
Thereupon the committee on streets and sidewalks presented its
report on an ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance Providing For The
Improvement of Fairview Avenue And Other Streets And Avenues In The
Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, By Furnishing.And Constructing
Therein A Connected System of Street Pavement And Appurtenances;'.
which ordinance had been referred to said committee for publication.
Said report was in the words and figures as follows, to -wit:

and State of Illinois.
Gentlemen: -
Your committee on streets and sidewalks, to whom was
referred the ordinance entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR `hE IMPROVEMENT OF
FAIRVIEW AVENUE AND OTHER STREETS AND AVENUES IN
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, BY FUR -
NiSHING AND CONSTRUCTING THEREIN A CONNECTED SYS-
TEM OF STREET PAVEMENT AND APPURTENANCES ",
and ordered published in the Cook County Herald, a secular
newspaper printed and published on Tuesday of each and every
week in the Village of Arlington Heights, Countyot Cook and
State of Illinois, hereby reports as follows:
That they caused said ordinance, together with a recommen-
dation of the Board of Local Improvements and the estimate of
the President of said Board of Local Improvements to be published
in said Cook County Herald on'Tuesday, the 14th day of June, A.D.
1927; that accompanying saidpublication of said
ordinance was a notice notifying all persons that
the undersigned, your committee, nad nixed Friday,
the 24th day of June, A.11.ly27,at the Hour of eight
o'clock.P:M., in the Village Board Rooms iii. the
Village Hall in said Village of Mount Prospect as the
time and place for thepublic consideration thereof,
and that your committee did meet at said time and place
for the consideration of said ordinance and did report
the conclusions of your committee to tnePresident and
Board of Trustees of said Village.
Your committee further represents that they met at
the time and place specified in said notice for the public
considerationof said ordinance, and after a nearing on
said ordinance and no objections having been made thereto
your committee has considered and does hereby recommend
the passage pf said ordinance and the making,of said Im-
provement as contemplated in said ordinance, recommendation
and estimate.

On motion made, seconded and unanimously carried said
report was ordered filed and also spread of record on the minutes
of this Board.
Said ordinance having been read Mr. Haas moved that
same be passed. The motion was seconded by Mr. Mecklenburg and
the roll called with the following result: Messrs. Beigel,
Heide, Haas, Mecklenburg and Pohlmann voting Aye. t[o one voting
nay. Thereupon the motion was declared carried and the ordinance
passed.
A plat was presented dedicating portions of the lots
fronting on Prospect Avenue between Emerson Street and Main Street
for the purpose of widening said street. On motion made, seconded
and unanimously carried, on roll call said plat was approved.
The Village Collector having presented his bond in the
sum of25,000.00, with Walter Muller and George L. Busse as
sureties, on motion made, seconded and unanimously carried said
bond, together with sureties thereon, was approved.

On motion made, seconded and carried the President
was directed to appoint two members ofthe Board of Trustees
to serve on a committee in connection with the arrangements
for the celebration and dedication of the paving improvements
to be held in October. The President appointed Messrs. Beige'
and Haas, and on motion made, seconded and carried the appoint-
ment was approved.
There being no further business to come before the
meeting, same on motion made, seconded and carried, was ad-
journed.
