Thereupon a plat of Prospect Manor Sub being a subaivision of part of the 3. 1/4 of the W. 1/2 of #hs W. 1/2 of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11, east of the 3rd P.M. was presented. The Village Clerk was directed to write to P. G. Campbell Supt of Northwestern Rairoad regarding sidewalks across the right of way of 0. & N. . The President called the meeting to order. , Trustee Pohlman was elected clerk pro tem. The Clerk called the roll, all Trustees responding present, except Trustee Noll. Report of Fire and Water Committee on Otd.for water mains in Northwest highway was presented and approved and ordered spread of record, which report is as follows: To the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook and State of Illinois. Gentlemen: Your Committee on Fire and Water, to whom was referred the ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTING AND LAYING OF A CONNECTED SYSTEM OF WATER MAINS, TO- i GETHER WITH ALL NECESSARY APPURTENANCES IN NORTH - WEST HIGHWAY AND OTHER STREETS AND AVENUES IN THE MILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COUNTY OF COOK AND STATE OF ILLINOIW ", and ordered published in the Cook County Herald, a secular newspaper printed and published on Friday of each and every week, in the Village of Arlington Heights, County of Cook and State of Illinois, hereby reports as follows: That they caused said ordinance, together with the recommendation of the Board of Local Improvements and the estimate of the President of said Board of Local Improvements,,to bec:pub- lished in said Cook County Herald on Friday the 1st day of October, A.D. 1926; that accompanying said publication of said ordinance was a notice notifying all persons that the undersigned, your committee, has fixed Tuesday the 5th day of October, A.D. 1926, at the hour of SE :30 o'clock P.M., in the Village Board Room in the Village of Mount Prospect, as the time and place for the public consideration theredif, and that your committee would meet at said time and place for the consideration of said ordinance and would report the conclusions of your committee to the President and Board of Trustees of said Village. Your committee further reports that they met at the time and place specified in said notice for the public consideration of said ordinance, and after a hearing on said ordinance and no objections having been made thereto, your committee has considered and does hereby recommend the Passage of said ordinance and the making of said improvement as contemplated in said ordinace, recommendation and estimate. dated, Mount Prospect, Illinois, October 9, 1926. It was moved by Trustee Haas seconded by Trustee Heide that 76 ordinace to vacte 33 feet of street adjourning lots 1 to 20 be passed.
