Dear Sir: - You are hereby notified to call a special meeting for Wednesday June 17th, 1925, for the purpose of receiving bids on the 1925 Water Extensions #2 and to take up such other business as may come before such meeting. Yours truly, William Busse. Village President. The Clerk called the roll all trustees responding present except Trustee Boll. Thereupon it was duly moved by Trustee Haas seconded by Trustee Pohlman that bids for 1925 Water Extensions #2 be opened. Motion carried. It was duly moved by Trustee Pohlman that we hold bid of Earl Knight for $1045.00 and that check of the other bidders be returned. Motion oarried. Therupon the following Ordinance was read: ORDINANCE NO, WHEREAS, the Village Board of the Village of Mount Prospect, after due investigation and consideration, has determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the public interest to be subserved in such as the warrant the vacation of certain streets described in the following ordinance; therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village Board of the Village of Mount Prospect: SECTION I That all of Katz Street lying north of the North line of Central Avenue in the Village of Mount Prospect to the South line of Henry Street in the said Pillage, and all of Henry Street lying West of the West Line of Elmhurst Road, as colored in red and indicated by the words, "TO BE VACATED ", on the plat hereto attached, which plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed, in as much as the same is no longer required for public use, and the public interests will be subserved by such vacation. SECTION 2 The vacation herein provided for is made, 1 upon the express condition that within thirty (30) days after the passage of this ordinance Melvin Joseph Cassidy will file with the Village Board of the Village of Mount Prospect a plat showing a subdivision of property which shall contain the streets herein vatted, and also other proerty, and also shall show a dedication of certain streets and alleys of said plat. Section 3 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, subject to the condition of Section 2 hereof, provided tha the said Melvin Joseph Cassidy shall, within sixty (60- days after the passage of this ordinance, file for record in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance. It was duly moved by Trustee Mecklenburg seconded by Trustee Heide that said Ordinance be approved. ROLL CALL Ayes Beigel Haas Heide Mecklenburg Pohlman. Nays none. Motion carried, ayes five, nays none. Thereupon meeting was adjourned to June 20th, 1925/ c
