Minutes of the meeting of November 5th, 1924 were read and same were on motion duly made, seconded and carried, approved as read. ROLL CALL Ayes, Beigel, Haas, Heide Mecklenburg, Noll, Pohlman Nays, None Motion carried, Ayes six, nays none. Thereupon it was moved by Trustte Meoklenburg seconded by Trustee Heide that Trustte Beigel be authorized to fix sill in the fire station in order to open the doors more freely. ROLL CALL Ayes, Beigel Haas Heide Meoklenburg Boll Pohlman Nays, None Motion carried Ayes six nays none. Thereupon the Clerk read the following application for permit November 17 -1924 Village of Mount Prospect, Mount Prospect, I11. Gentlemen; Application is hereby made to lay new Gas main on Louis Ave from end of main on Evergreen ave to 620' farther south also gas services on Louis Ave. Public Service Co. By D. W. Burtis. It was duly moved by Trustee Haas seconded by Trustee Pohlman that said permit be granted. A RESOLUTION Whereas there has been published in the Press ow a story that the C. & N. W. Ry Co is about to ask the Commerce Committee for an increase in passenger rates. And whereas the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prespeor believe such increase is unwarranted and a great detriment to people of this village. Therefor be it resolved that we oppose said increase and that the President is authorized and directed to take sucjt steps as is necessary to oppose increase. It was duly moved by Trustee Haas seconded by Trustee Nall that said resolution be adopted. Carried. Thereupon it was moved: by Trustee Beigel seconded by Trustee Heide that the Chairman of the Street and Sidewalk Commitee be authorised to put in plank crossings at School St. and Busse Ave. ROLL CALL Ayes Beigel Haas Heide Mecklenburg Noll Pohlman Nays none, Motion carried ayes six nays none. It was duly moved by Trustee Heide seconded by Trustee Pohlman that the Village Clerk be authorized to have ,a box made to put in the Village records.
