County of Cook I, Henry J.Ehard, clerk of the Village of Mount Proepeot,®ook County Illinois, and keeper of the records and files thereof, do hereby certify that at an eleotim held in the Village of Mount Prospeot ,Cook County ,ILLINOIS, on Tueeday,April I6th, 19240 the following named persons were duly eleoted to the office set opposite their respective names and eaoh of them has filed in my office the oath of offioe required by law. Prospeot A.0, the privilege of using their athletio fiild, it gives me great pleasure to submit to your board the dates on whichthe above memtioned olab would like so use the field and we hope that w.e oan be a000modated. Thereupon the President appointed the Finanoe Comittee as the Public Grounds Comittee. It was duly moved by trustee Heide, seconded by Trustee Beigel that said appointadnt be oonourred in. Thereupon the bond of Edwin L.Busse Village Olerk,for the sum of Three Hundred Dollars with Herman F Meyn and Edward Busse as sureties was presented and same was,on motion made,seoonded and carried, approved. Roll Call Ayes: Beigel, Haas, Heide, Meokkenburg, Noll, Pohlman. Nays: None. Motion Carried, Ayes six, Nays None: • Thereupon it was moved by Trustee Pohlman, seoonded by Trustee Haas that Clerk be direoted to issue warrant for Prank Gerken for his April Salary. Rol* Call. Thereupon it was duly moved by Trustee Beigel, seconded by Trustee Haas that May I7.1024 be cleanup day and Chief of Polio) be authorized to hire team to haul all tin oans that have been flattened out away free of charge. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Haas, Heide, Meoklenburg, Noll, Pohlman. Nays: None. Motion parried, Ayes six, Hayes None. Thereupon the Clerk was ordered to place the following letter on file. Elgin April 4 I924. Village of Mount Prospect. Dear Sir: Please be advised that the Division of Highways will hereafter maintain all pavement oonatnuotion under the provisions of Section 9, Artiole 4 of the Road and. Bridge law. Under this ruling we will maintain the pavement on Section 68 Cook County and Section 97B, Gook County, within the village of Mt. Prospect. It is Requested that in the future village transactions this portion of the highway be considered as a State Aid Road rather than a village Street. should the village oontempl- any street improvements which will in any way affect this pavement, the consent and 000peration of our Department should first be seoured. Motion carried, Ayes six, Nays None. w ' Thereupon it was duly movred, seconded and carried that the Clerk and Treasurer be directed to close their books upon the payment of bills approved at this meeting and that the Pinanoe Comittee be directed to audit books of the Clerk and the Treasurer. lherupon it was duly moved by Trustee Haas, Seoondedby Trustee Noll, that the following be transfered, 136.16 from Water equipment fund to the Salary Fund. 10.80 from , the Health h Drainage fund to the Public Grounds fund. 6.99 from the Special Assement fund to the Contingent fund. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Base' Heide, Mecklenburg, Noll, Pohlman, Nays: none/ Motion Carried, Ayes six, Nays None. Thereupon an ordinaoe entitled, "An Ordinance Designating Members of the Bj,era of Trustees of the Yi a Of ►ount Prospeot Illinois as Members of the AIWA of LooalImprovements.
