Minutes of an adjourned meeting of the Village. Board.
The President oalled the meeting to order.
The olerk oalled the roll all trustees excepting trustee Bosch
and trustee Jahnoke responding present.
The olerk read an ordinance providing for the time of opening
and closing of polls at all general and speoial elections of the
village of Mount Prospect.
It *aa duly moved by trustee Pohlmann, seconded by trustee
Mecklenburg that said ordinance be passed.
Roll Call.
Ayes: Haas, Heide, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann.
Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes four, nays none.
Thereupon it was moved by trustee Pohlmann, seoonded by trustee
Haas that the annual village eleotion for village clerk and three
village Trustees be oalled, to be held on the -rd Tuesday of April
1924 at the Village Hall.
Roll Call.
Ayes: Haas, Heide, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann.
Nays: None.
Motion Carried ayes four, nays none.
Thereupon the olerk read the following application for per-
mission to dig up street signed by President William Busse.
"To the Honorable President and Members of the Village
Board of the Village of Mount Prospect? Illinois: f_
Gentlemen:
I Hereby make application for permission to dig
up Maple St. from lot 8 of Block 12 of Busse & Willi's Reeubd. south
to :Prospect Ave. for the purpose of laying a drain tile to connect
with large sewer in Prospect Ave.
Signed: William Busse.
It was duly, moved, seoonded and carried that said permit be
granted and that a cash deposit of 410.00 be made with the Village
clerk as a guarantee that baok fill would be properly made, said
.142•00 to be refunded upon orders of the Board.
Thereupon the President informed the Board that Mr. Grimm had
requested that he take up the matter of drainage on the Bast side
of Main St. North of Central Road, as the ditch did not properly
drain off the water. The President informed the Board that Mr Grimm
desired permission to lay tile in said ditch to drain tile running
through his farm, the Village to furnish the Tile and Mr. Grimm
would do the laying of same.
It was duly moved by trustee Pohlmann, seconded by trustee Haas
that this matter be referred th the Health and Drainage Committee
with power to aot.
Roll Call.
Ayes: Haas, Heide, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann.
Nays None.
Motion carried ayes four, nays none.
On motion duly made, seoonded and oarreid meeting adjourned.
