The President called the meeting to order.
The clerk called the roll, all trustees, excepting
trustee Gosch, responding present.
Minutes of the meeting of October 2nd, were read and same
were, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, approved as read.
The Treasurer's report, as follows, was read and ordered
placed on file.

It was duly moved by trustee Haas, seconded by trustee Jahncke,
that said bills be paid and that the clerk be directed to issue warrants
in payment of same.

Thereupon the clerk read the following bills for water leads
supplies, said bills having been approved by the proper committees.

It was duly moved by trustee Mecklenburg, seconded by trustee
Haas, that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue
warrants for same.

Motion carried ayes five - nays none.
Thereupon it was moved by trustee Naas, seconded by
trustee Jahncke, that the village attorney be authorized and
directed to prepare an ordinance whereby the alley in Block 8
in Busse & Wille's Resubdivision and alley in Biock 19 of Eggleston
Subdivision would be vacated, cost of preparation of ordinance and
other necessary plats and documents required, to be paid for by
the property owners of the abutting property. Also that said
ordinance include the vacation of alley in the rear of Block 21 of
Eggleston Subdivision if the property owners of the abutting
property to alley in rear of Biock 21 so desired and agreed to pay
their portion of the expense of preparing ordinance and other
necessary documents.

Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Mecklenburg,
seconded by trustee Pohlmann, that the clerk be directed to
purchase necessary books and stationery for the keeping: of the
water meter readings and accounts.

Nays: None.
Motion carried, ayes five - nays none.
Thereupon it was duly moved, seconded and earried,that
the clerk be directed to return deposits of Meier & Busse of
$25.00 and A15.00, which he was holding as a guarantee that back
fill in excavations made by them in public streets.
Thereupon it was moved by trustee Pohlmann, seconded by
trustee Haas, that Mr. Haberkamp be permitted to make connection
to water mains for water for his greenhouse and that he be charged
for water consumed at 175.00 per year, payable quarterly.

Motion carried, ayes five - nays none.
Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Mecklenburg,
seconded by trustee Haas, that the chairman of the Street and
Sidewalk Committee be authorized and directed to install
drainage pipe or tile through Main Street at the south side of
Prospect Ave.
