The Clerk oalled the roll, all trustees, excepting trustee Haas and Goaoh, responding present. 1 Minutes of the meeting of September 4th, 1923, were read and same were, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, approved as read. M. Porter Co. 4511.66 Balanoe on hand 853.23 • Thereupon Mr. Walter Pohlmann spoke to the Village Board in reference to his drain tile. It was duly moved, seconded and carried, that a recess be taken for the purpose of holding a meeting of the Board of Local Improvements. The Board reconvened after the meeting of the Board of Looal Improvements, all trustees, excepting trustees Haas and Gooch, responding present. The clerk read the following bills which had been approved by the proper committees. Gilbert Busse, hauling dirt and scraping streets, 4.00 Albert Willey, gravel and planks, 24.17 Remus & Schultz, 41 lin. ft. cement sidewalk, 39.98 I11. Bell. Tel. Co. Long distance calls, 1.80 Eimer J. Mille, light in pumping station, 1,15 George Busse, balance on insurance for pump sta. 4.25 Wm. Busse & Son, fire fighting supplies, 5.50 Luitwieler Pumping Engine Co. Bal. due on pump, 229.34 Public Service Co. Street lights - September - 63.84 Total 374.03 Water Leads Supplies & Labor • Gilbert Busse, digging for water plug, 1.50 Albert Tassi, 18 taps 479 ft. Ct 68 and $7.00 for extra digging, 308.77 J. W. Pohlmann, express and freight, 5.37 Henion & Hubbell, 15 1" Corp. gook. 24.26 Kehe Motor Servioe, express, 8.11 Raymond Lead Work, 970 lbs. 1-" lead pipe, 85.90 8 433.91 It was duly moved by trustee Pohlmann, seconded by trustee Jahncke, that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants for same, but that the sum of $20.00 be deduoted from Albert Tassi's bill. ROLL CALL • Ayes: Heide, Jahnoke, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann. Nays: None. Motion carried, ayes four - nays none. i t Thereupon the clerk read the following application. • "(Date) Oct. 2, 1923. To the Honorable President and Members of the Village Board of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois: Gentlemen: 1 hereby make application for permission to lay cement sidewalk on west side of Wille St, on Lot 10 in Block 2 in Ernst Busse Addition to Mt. Prospect. Signed Adolph Wille." It was drily moved, seconded and carried, that said permit be granted and that the grade at which sidewalk was to be laid be approved by the President. Thereupon bills as follows, which had been approved by the proper committees, were read by the clerk. Edward Zinkel - fixing orossings - $ 4.00 " - pumping - Month of September. 35.00 It was duly moved by trustee dahncke, seconded by trustee Heide, that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants for same. ROLL CALL Ayes: Heide, Jahnoke, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann. Nays: None, Motion carried, ayes four - nays none. Thereupon the following proposals for laying oement floor in Municipal Building were read. REMUS AND SOHULTS Will lay 530 aq. ft. of 4" thick concrete floor with finish at 15 cents per sq. ft. - 78.50 and 245 eq. ft. 4" (2' thick concrete without finisb at 11 cents per eq. ft. - 26.95. Total $105.45. C. H. NILLE Mount Prospect, Cook County, I11., Oct. 2, 1923. Village of Mt. Prospect I propose to furnish Material and Carpenter labor to put in Maple floor in one room in the Pumping station 14' - 8" wide 17' -6" long 2 x 4 Sleepers every 16* centers with 1 layer tar felt underneath the floor and 13/16* x 2 +x Maple floor, and to put on 2 member base For the sum of $92.42 Material and Jabot to put in wooden door sills in the 3 outside door frames For the sum of $10,24. It was duly moved by trustee Heide, seconded by trustee Pohlmann, that the Fire and Water Committee be authorised and directed to have cement floor laid in Municipal Building, said cement floor to have a smooth finish in the pump room and Fire Truck room and rough finish with 2 x 4 sleepers in meeting room to be covered with tar paper and maple flooring, and to have base board placed in said meeting room and wood sill in all outside doors. ROLL CALL Ayes: Heide, Jahnoke, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann. Nays: None. Motion carried, ayes four -nays none. Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Jahncke, seconded by trustee Heide, that the Fire and Water Committee be authorized and directed to have a heating plant installed in Municipal Building. ROLL CALL Ayes: Heide, Jahnoke, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann. Nays: None. Motion oarried, ayes four - nays none. Thereupon the Zoning Commission reported that they had divided the Village in three districts and that they had decided that real estate they deemed advisable to be placed t in these three districts, also that they had prepared a Zoning Ordinance, and they asked the Board for permission to have same printed so that copies of same would be available fifteen days before the public hearing on same, stating that it would cost $30.00 to have 200 or less copies of 'this ordinance printed. It was duly moved by trustee Jahnoke, seconded by trustee Heide, that the Zoning Commission be authorized to have Zoning Ordinanoe printed. ROLL CALL Ayes: Heide, Jahnoke, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann.
