Minutes of a meeting held in pursuance to the following
written order issued by the President Pro Tem.

,Village Clerk:
Dear Sir:
You are hereby directed to call a special meeting
of the Village Board of the Pillage of Mount Prospeot to be held
Saturday evening, May 20th, 1922 at 8 o'olook P. M. at William
Wille's Hall for the purpose of considering bill sibmitted by •
W. L. Thorne Co. for drilling Village well and to take up such
other business as may come before the meeting.

The olerk called the roll all trustees excepting trustee
Olauaing responding present. ,
Thereupon the olerk read the following bill from W. L. Thorne
Co. for drilling Village well said bill having" been approved by
the proper oommittees.

It was duly moved by trustee Haas, seconded by trustee
Jahnoke that said bill be paid and that the President Pro Tem
be authorized to sign me the olerk to countersign and issue a
warrant for the sum of 41913.50 in favor of W. L. Thorne Co. payable
out of the Water Work's Bond issue fund.

.dyes : - Gosoh, Haas, Heide, Jahnoke, Meoklenburg.
Nays: - None.
Motion carried ayes five, nays none.
Thereupon the clerk read an application of Albert Wille for permission
to dig up Evergreen Ave. from lot line of lot 13 Block 11 in Busse's
& Wille's Resubd. in Mt.• Prospect for the purpose of laying drain
tile to tile in said Evergreen Ave.
It was duly moved seconded and carried that said permission
be granted upon his depositing$10.00 with the Village Clerk as a
guarantee that the repairing and refilling would be properly done
said 410.00 to be refunded upon order of the Village Board.
Thereupon the matter of protection at R. R. crossing was
disoussed and it was duly moved by trustee Jahnoke eeoonded by
trustee Haas that the clerk be directed to instruct the Village
Attorney to draw up an e&dinance requiring the Chioago & No*th-
western Railway Co. to install and maintain gates at all crossings
in the Village and that the Attorney be requested to have same
ready for presentation at the next meeting.

Nays:- stone.
Motion parried ayes five, nays none.
On motion duly made seconded and carried meeting adjourned.
