HomeMy WebLinkAbout11/01/1921 VB minutes Nov. 1, 1921. The President called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the roll all trustees responding present. Minutes of the meeting of Oot 4th, 1921 were read and on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read. The treasurer's report as follows was read and on motion duly made seconded and carried ordered placed on file. Treasurer's Report. Balance on hand last report 1 712.07 Expenditures 133.31 Cash on hand 578.66 Thereupon the clerk read the following bills said bills having been approved by the proper committees. Edward Zinkel cleaning Catch basin 0 2.00 Dick Friedrichs Jr. -- Painting road signs 4 9.00 William Busse & Son -- Lantern, Oil,ean , gasoline -4 16.95 Henry Holste-- Soraping roads- cutting weeds, Hauling stone $ 49.00 " - -Money advanced to Louis Hasz for shoveling stone & trimming trees 16.50 tt " - -Money advanced to William Bergmann for shoveling st. and trimming tr.-4 23.00 Albert Wille - -2 cars of gravel 'and labor & team tt 1/ hauling stone 4197.30 Tile vP 29.00 William Busse & Son- two tires for fire truck 411140 Northwestern Light & Power Co. - -Oot. St. Lights 0 58.33 Total 4512.08 It was duly moved by trustee Beigel, seconded by trustee Heide that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants for same. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Olausing, Gosoh, Heide, Holste, Meoklenburg. Nays: None. Motion carried ayes six nays none. Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Holste, seconded by trustee Beigel that the President be authorized and directed to sign and the clerk to countersign and issue warrants for the sum of 425.00 each one to the Volunteer Fire dept of Desplaines and one to-the Volunteer Fire Department of Arlington Heights for ser- vices rendered at fire of the Northwestern Light & Power Co. Sept. 3rd. 1921. Roll call. Ayes: Beigel, Olausing, Gosch, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg. Nays :: none. Motion carried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon it was duly moved, seconded and carried that the clerk be directed to notify the Forest Glen Creamery Co. that they must construct a catch basin for their toilets at once and that he also be direoted to write to said creamery Co. informing them that the County contemplated oonstructing a pavement along the Northwest High- wa y during the building season of 1922 and that catch basin located rr in Baia liorthweat rihway which shay are u3ia cvoula have to be aistroyaa and that they would be required to oonstruct a oateh -basin at some other location through which to drain their floor water.
