Minutes of the meeting of Sept. 6th, 1921 were read and on motion duly made ,seconded and, carried accepted as read. The Treasurer's report as follows was read and on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read and ordered placed on file. Treasurer's Report. Balance on hand Sept.6th, 1921 $889.51 Expenditures $177.44 Balance on hand 4712,07 Thereupon the clerk read the following bills said bills having been approved by the proper committees. Louis Hasz---- shoveling stone for street 4 6.00 William Bergmann " If " IT 4 6.00 Henry Holste- -Labor cutting weeds scraping and hauling stone 426.00 • Henry Holste- -Money advanced to laborer 42300 William Busse - -- Sulphuric Acid 413.-98 Northwestern Light & Power Co. Sept. St. Lights Total - -4 33, 1. It was duly moved by trustee Beigel, seconded by trustee b.olste that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants for same. a e. Roll Call. Ayes:. Beigel, Clausing, Goseh, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg. Nays: None. Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Goseh, seconded by trusteeHolste that the chairman of the Fire and Water Committee • be authorized to purchase another tire for the Fire- truck. Roll Call. Ayes: Be Clausing, Goseh, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg. Nays: None. Thereupon the opening of Main Street to the Rand Road was dis- cussed and it was duly moved, seconded and carried that the Presi- dent be authorized to negotiate with the land owners in the Vill- age of Mount Prospect regarding the acquiring of Right -of -way through their land for said extension of Main Street. I I Thereupon the clerk read a certified copy of an ordinance passed by the pity council of the City of Chicago said ordinance giving the Fire Marshall of the City of Chicago authority to send fire apparatus and Firemen outside of the corporate limits of the (:) city of Chicago whenever requested so to do by authoities of any city, town, or Village lying cotiguous to or within a radius of 100 miles from the city of Chicago provided that such fire aparatus can in the judgement of the Fire Marshall be spared from service in the City of Chicago at the time requested, the rates for service rendered by the Chicago Fire Dept. to be 420.00 for the first hour or fraction thereof and 415.00 per hour for all time after the first hour for each engine company, truck company or squad company the time for which charge is to be made shall be computed from the time of fire apparatus leaving quaters to the time of the offical return of said fire apparatus. Thereupon the clerk read a communication from the I'liingis.Bell Telephone Co. acknowledging receipt of resolution passed at the last meeting and a letter from the Chicago and Northwestern Rail- way Co. in reference to their crossing at Emerson Street. Thereupon the clerk reported that Mr. C. D. Busse had lost his vehicle License plate and that he desired to have a new plate issued to him to take its place. It was duly moved seconded and carried that the clerk be directed to issue Vehicle License Plate No. 75 to Mr C. D. Busse to take the place of lost plate.
