Minutes of the meeting of May 3rd were read and on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read. (:: The treasurer's report as follows was , read and on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read and ordered placed on file. Treasurer's Report. Total reoeipts from May 1, 192o to May 1, 1921 - 43543.46 Amount borrowed 150 $0 Total reoeipta ; , Total expenditures Mayl, 1920 to May 1, 1921 3642.18 Balance , Loans paid 150.-00 Balanoe on hand fle27 Thereupon it was duly moved seconded and carried that the finanoe committee audit books of the Treasurer and olerk. Thereupon the clerk read an ordinance entitled an ordinance making appropriation for corporate purposes in the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois for the fiscal year begining May 1st 1921 and ending April 30th, 1922. It was duly moved by trustee Beigel, seconded by trustee Heide that said ordinance be passed, Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gosoh, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg. (:: Nays: None. Motion carried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon the clerk read the following bills said bills having been approved by the proper committees. William Bargmann -- shoveling crush stone P 3.50 Fred Bierman -- scrapping roads and hauling stone 449,'50 Henry Holste -- Scrapping roads 418.•25 rt rt n " shoveling stone ( Paid to Paul Holste 432.00 Labor on road & shoveling stone. May St. Lights Total . -e.6 It was duly moved by trustee Gooch, seconded by trustee Hoists that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants for same. Roal Call. Applioation for permission to dig , up Prospect Ave. from lot 14, block. 12 in Busse's and Wille's Resubd. in Mt. Prospeobtto Maple St. and to dig up Evergreen Ave.. from Maple Street to tile in said Ever- green Ave. for the purpose of laying a drain tile. (:: William Busse. Applioation for permission to ding up Prospect Ave. from lot 14 in Block 12 in Busse & Wille's Resubd. in Mount Prospect, west to the residence of Mr. John P. Moehling, for the purpose of laying drain tile. William Deeke. Applioation for permission to dig up Emerson Ave, for the pur- pose of laying drain tile from lot line of lot 33 in Walter Krause's Addition to tile in said Emerson Street. It was duly moved seconded and carried that permission as applied for by Henry Linnemann, William Busse, and William Deeke be granted•. Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Gooch, seconded by trustee Beigel that the committee on Health and Drainage be authorized and directed to have a drain constructed from the corner of Elm St. and Evergreen Ave. to the Pond, to turn water from the Utility Battery Co. and the Mount Prospect Creamery Co. the other way. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gosoh, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg. Nays; None. 'Motion carried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon it was duly moved seconded and carried that the clerk be direoted to write to the Public Service Co. requesting them to examine and repair their gas shut -offs in the 'streets. Thereupon it was duly moved by. trustee Beigel, seconded by trustee Gosoh that the Street and Sidewalk Committee be authorized and directed to have the necessary repairs and improvements of roads done and to have weeds out along streets when necessary. Roll Call Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gosoh, Heide, Holste, Meoklenburg. . Nays: None. -Motion oarried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon it was duly moved seconded and carried that the Health and Drainage Committee by direoted to notify the Mount Prospect Cream- ery Co. and the Utility Battery Co. that theymust construct a catch basin at once for their toilets. Thereupon the President left as he had to catch a train to Sprin- field. Mr. Henry Beigel aoted as chairman for the balance of the meet- ing. Thereupon a plat of Burke's and Meier's Addition to Mount Prospect (:: in N. W. 1/4 of Section 12 Town 41, N., R. 11 east of the 3rd. P. M. was presented for approval. It was duly moved by trustee Gooch, seconded by trustee Beigel that said plat be approved and the President and Clerk be Directed to sign same for the Village. Roll all. Ayes: Beigel, Clausing Gooch, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg. Na ys: None. Motion oarried ayes six, nays n one. Thereupon the clerk read an ordinance entitled an ordinance to amend an ordinance entitled an ordinance providing for the orgi u,iza- tion of the Village of Mount Prospect, and regulating its corporate procedure, said ordinance being designated as ordinance No. 33, It was duly moved by trustee Heide seconded by trustee Gooch that said ordinance be passed. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gosah, Heide, Hoistp,:Mecklenburg. Nays: None. 'Motion carried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Gooch, seconded by trustee Holste that the Clerk be directed to issue warrant in favor of Miss Olga Mueller for the sum of four dollars in payment for type - writing two ordinances. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gooch, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg. Nays: None. 'Motion carried ayes:six, Nays none. On motion duly made seconded and carried meeting adjourned.
