The Clerk called the roll all trustees responding present. • Minutes of the meeting of March 1, 1921 were read and on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read. Thereupon the clerk read the treasurer's report as fellows and same was on motion duly made, seconded and carried accepted as read and ordered placed on file. Treasurer's Report. Hhard -Junk Lie:. -•`! 2.00 Total- Disbursements » 766.11 Balance on hand Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Pohlman, seconded by trustee Haberkamp that the treasurer be authorized and directed to transfer $50.00 from the Polioe Protection fund to the Street fund. The Chairman of the Pollee and Light Committee reported that rope on flag pole had tore and run off of pulley at the top of the flag pole and that it required that some one climb to the top of flag pole and put a new rope over the pulley. The Chairman of the Police and tight Committee was directed to have the matter attended to. The Chairman of the Fire and Water committee reported that the Fire and Water Committee had inspected the tires on fire truck and stated that in their opion the tires were alright and would last for some time. (:: Thereupon a plat dedicating a strip of land 66 feet in.width lying northerly of and adjacent to the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Companys Right of Way across a piece of land owned by Nicholas F. Burke, Walter M. Burke and Mary J. Burke in Section 11, Township 41 North Range 11 East of the 3rd. P. M. said plat being signed by Nicholas F. Berke, Walter M. Berke and Mary J. Burke, was presented. It was duly moved by trustee Pohlman, seconded by .trustee Haberkamp that said plat be approved and that the President be authorized to sign and the Clerk to countersign and record said plat for the Village. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Busse, Gooch, Haberkamp, Hoists, Pohlman. lays: none. Motion carried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon the following resolution submitted by the Finanoe committee was read. Resolution. "Be it resolYed that the President be authorised and directed to sign and the clerk to countersign and issue a warrant in favor of Mary J. Burke for the use of William Busse for the sum of $300.00 in payment for a strip of land dedioated for road purposes. It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp, seconded by trustee Pohlman that said resolution be adopted. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Busse, Gosoh, Haberkamp, Hoists, Pohlman. buys: None. Motion carried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon the clerk read a comunication from I. D. Rawlings Director of Public Health regarding Health Promotion Week. The Clerk was directed to send an invitation to all residents to attend a meeting to be held April 17, 1921 for the purpose of discussing ways and means of eondusting said Health Promotion Week. Thereupon the clerk read the following communication. "To The President and Members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect: Gentlemen; We, the undersigned, hereby offer and (:: agree to convey, without expenoe, to the Village of Mount Prospect Cook County, Illinois to be used for play ses by the publics, on such term and conditions as may mutually agreed upon between ourselves and the Board of Trustees of sail Village, the following described parcel of real estate, to -wit: Approximately three (3) acres of land in the North End of Block Eight (8) in Busse's Eastern Addition to Mount prospect. g espectlly Signed: William Busse George Busse Louis C. Busse Louis P. Busse Edward Busse William Busse Jr. Albert E. Busse. Dated, this twenty -third day of March, A. D. 1921. It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp, seoonded by trustee Pohlman, that said offer be accepted, as the land offered was very desirable !or the purpose for which it was offered. . Roll Call. It was duly moved by trustee Beigel, seoonded by trustee Gooch that the Village purchase and plant the necessary trees around and on the above mentioned plargroand. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Busse, Gooch, Haberkamp, Holste, Pohlman. Nays; Hone: Motion carried ayes six, nays none. It was duly moved seconded and carried that trustee Pohlman, Trustee Busse and trustee Haberkamp be appointed a committee to (:2 supervise the purchasing and planting of said trees.
