HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/01/1920 VB minutes June 1, 1920. The President called the meeting to order. The Clerk called the roll all trustees responding present. Minutes of the meeting of May 4th 192o were read and on motion duly made seconded and parried accepted as read. The Treaaurer1a report as follows was read , and on motion duly made seconded and.oarried order placed on file. Corporate fund, Bal. on hand May 4th•1920 $592•32 Expenditures 446.42 Balance 145.90 Received from H. J. Shard 257:00 Total balance on hand 402.90 Vehicle license Fund. On hand May 4th, 1920 424.41 Expenditures 20.50 Balance 3.91 Received from H. J. Shard- 212,00 Total balance on 4215.91 The finance committee reported that they had examined the Treasererb and clerks books and had found same correct. Thereupon the bond of Christian D. Busse Village Treasurer for the sum of 45000.00 with Albert E. Busse and Ernst Busse as sureties was read. It was duly moved by trustee Pohlmann seconded by trustee Beigel that said bond be approved. Roll call, Ayes: Beigel, Busse, Gosok, Haberkamp, Holste, Pohlmann. Nays: none. Motion carried ayes six nays none. Thereupon an ordinance making appropriation for corporate purposes in the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, I11. for the fiscal year begining May lst 1920 and ending April 30th 1921 designated as ordinance No. 25, was introduced and read by the Clerk. It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee Gosch that said ordinance be passed. Roll Call. Ayes: Beigel, Busse, Gosch, Haberkamp, Holste, Pohlmann. Nays: none. Motion parried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon the clerk read the following bills said bills having been approved by the proper committees. Dog tags 2.50 Horders Stationery Store 2 journals 2.45 Total 4218.12 It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee Holste that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants for same. Rc11 Gall. Ayes: Beigel, Busse, Gooch, Haberkamp, Holste, Pohlmann. Nays: none. Motion carried ayes six, nays none. Thereupon an ordinance amending an ordinance for lioensing automobiles Wagons and other vehioles in the Village of Mount Prospect Cook County Illinois designated as ordinance No. 26 was read by the clerk. It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee Gosoh that said ordinanoe be passed. Roll Call Ayes: Beigel, Busse, Gooch, Haberkamp, Holste, Pohlmann. Nays: none. Motion carried ayes six, nays none, Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee Holste that the President be authorized and direoted to sign and the Clerk to oountersign and issue warrants in favor of the following for the amount set opposite their name as a refund for the amount each has overpaid for his vehicle lioense. Thereupon the olerk read a communication from the Public Service 00. advising that said 00. had applied to the Public Utilities Comm. for increase in rates for gas in Mount Prospect. On motion duly made seconded and carried meeting adjourned. Minutes approved this day of July, 1920. c
