The minutes of the meetings of April I9, I9I9 and May 6, I1919 were read by the clerk and on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read. The clerk thereupon read the following communication President. g tion from the To the Members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect Gentlemen: by ordinance I hereby appoint virtue of authority conferred upon me y ppoint the following as Police Officers for one year and respectfully ask your concurrence therein. George Tatge Herman Heide. Yours very truly, signed William Busse Village President. On motion duly made by trustee Busse seconded by trustee Haberkamp the appointment of George Tatge and Herman Heide as police officers was unanimously concurred in. Thereupon the treasurer's report as follows was read and on motion duly made seconded and carried ordered placed on file. The chairman of the Health and Drainage committee reported regarding application of Herman Behrens for permission to dig ditch along Main St. , which had been referred to said committee , that said committee reoommened that Mr. Herman Behrens connect his drain tile with tile on north side of Central Street, and that permission be granted to said Berman :: Behrens to dig ditch across Central St. for said drain Tile. It was duly moved by trustee Pohlmann, seconded by trustee Gosch that permission to dig ditch at his garage from lot line to drain tile on north side of Central St. be granted Mr. Herman Behrens. Busse Village Treasurer for the sum of 45000.00 with Edward Busse and William Busse Jr. as surities was presented It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee Holste that said bond be approved. , Roll Call. C Therupon the clerk read applications of the Public service Co. for permission to make opening for laying service leads at Edward Busse's Ice Cream parlor from lot line to gas main in Emerson St. and at Busse's garage from lot line to gas moire in Main St. On motion duly made seconded and carried said permits were granted.
