Minutes of the previous meeting were therupon read and on motion duly waded seconded and carried accepted as read. The Treasurer's monthly report as follows was read and ordered placed on file. Balance on hand previous report $353.34 Receipts June 7,1918 from H.J.Ehard, (d 356. Expenditures 52.12 Balance on hand §306.62 The Treasurer's annual report was thereupon presented, and same was on motion duly -made seconded and oarried ordered referred to the Finanoe committee for their 0 K pending *hair addit,e books. Thereupon the clerk read the following bills , said bills having been 0.Ked. by the proper committees. Chicago Telephone Company - -- -Long Distance call $ .20 Jo4n P Moehling -- - Statute Book & Criminal Docket 14.'05 Northwestern Light & Power Co. June street lights 41.-67 Albert Wills Stone I68.30 Albert Wills Hauling Stone - 25.80 Fred Biermann " " • &- Scrapping - - -- 6330 Henry Holste Jr. " " & Labor I5.-60 William Sauer Labor 6.90 Henry Hammer " -- 5.-I0 Total §340.92 It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp, seconded by trustee Goaoh that said bills be paid and that the clerk be directed to issue warrants for same. Roll Call Beigel aye Gosoh aye- Holste aye Busse aye Haberkamp aye Pohlmann aye. Motion carried ayes six, nays none. The Chairman of the Health and Drainage committee reported that ditch running through Mr. Henry Reese farm needed cleaning, and that Mr. Reese had requested the help of a man to assist him to clean said dit oh. On motion duly made seconded and carried the above matter was referred to the Health and Drainage Committee. The Chairmann of the Judiciary Committee reported that ordinance relating to pedal which had been refferred to the Judiciary Cori. was considered by said committee to be to broad to be practical for � ` this village, It was duly moved seconded and carried that the judiciary oommittee be given more time in which to draw up an ordinance on peddlers , which they oonsidered praotioable. The bond of the treasurer amounting to $500040 with August Froem- ling and Edward Busse as suritiea was presented. It was duly moved by trustee Pohlmann seconded by trustee Haberkamp that said bond be accepted and opproved. Roll Call Beigel aye Gosch aye Holste aye Busse aye Haberkamp aye Pohlmann aye. Motion carried ayes six nays none. Thereupon Weller Creek Drainage Commissioner William Kirohoff addressed the meeting explainng the benefits the village would receive from the said drainage district and asking the trustees to take some action to have the village sign the petition for their streets to be included in said district. It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee Busse, that the President be authorized and instructed to sign drainage petite tion for the Village. Thereupon trustee Haberkamp intrduoed an ordinance for the levy "�► and assessment of taxes for the current fisoal year, commencing May I, I9I8 and ending Aril 30, 1919, designated as ordinance la.I7.,which was read by the clerk. It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp , seconded by trustee Gosch that saidypassed , approved and published according to law. ordinance be Roll Call.
