HomeMy WebLinkAbout05/05/1936 VB minutes 37 THE MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ILLINOIS, HELD ON THE FIFTH DAY OF MAY 1936 AT 8 P.M. President Meyn called the meeting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following trustees were found to be present: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamn, Harrington, Hennix and Wille. The minutes of the last meetings were read and approved onthe motion of Trustee Haberkamp and second of Trustee Harrington. C It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Harrington that the following Tresurers report be placed on file. Motion carried by a vote of acclamation. Moteen was carried wi the following vote Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington, ennix and Wille. Nays None. 3 A motion was made by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Naas to grant the V.F.W. and the American Legion permission to sell poppies. Motion was carried ried b a vote of by aeelamation. It was roved by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Harrington to give the job of auditing the village records to A. L. Roderick for the salary of $250.00. The vote on said motion was as follows Ayes: Greinke, Baas, baberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Wille. Nays none. It way moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Hennix to have Mr. Roderick check the County Clerks records, to I find out if there is any money due the village. Motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Harrington to purchase electric light globes to replace broken ones, said priee to be about $443.00 per hundred. The tote was as follows Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, harrington, Hennix and Wills Nays- None. It was moved by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee Wille, that the Village Treasurer deposit all-money received from water collections in a separate bank a eoount and devide such deposits in separate funds, all in compliance with the water- revenue bond ordinance, and that for that purpose ther be issued a cheek payable out of the general fund, in which said water receipts are now deposited for the amount of such water rates now on deposit in said general fund. Amount of $4003.37. The vote on said motion was as follows, Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Wille. Nays none. There being no further business to come before said meeting it was regularly moved and seconded that same be adjourned. . ■
