HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/06/1936 VB minutes 39 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT PROSPECT ILLII,OBB, HELD ON THE SIXTH DAY OF JUNE 1936. AT THE VILLAGE HALL OF SAID VILLAGE AT 8:00 P.M. The president ealled the meeting to oreder and upon the clerk calling the roll the following trustees were found to be present. Greinke, Haas, haberkamp, harrington Hennix and Wille. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Haberkamp that the following treasurers report be plaeed on file. Motion carried. Motion earried. It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Haberkamp to pay f2.50 garage rent to Mulso and 'h.ittemberg until further notice. Motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the following bills be paid. It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Greinke that a new flag be purchased for the Village, the same to be 8x12 feet. Motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Barrington to purchase a new hand lawn mower. Motiob carried. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp nd seconded by Trustee Greinke, to meet with the drainage eommisions of Weller Creek and Feehanville districts to discuss dis- posal of sewage. The motion was passed with the following 3 vote. Ayes: Greinke, Baas, Bab erkamp, Barrington, tiennix and Wille. Nays none. It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Greinke to authorize the clerk to advertize for bids on a 1* ton truck with duel rear wheels and dump body with automatic lift and also a nine foot snow plow with straight blade. Bids to be opened July 'th, 1936. The Tote on said motion was as follows: Ayes- Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Barrington, teen nix and Wille. Nays none. It was moTaI by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Barrington to permit the Y.F.W. to sell fireworks July lst to 4th, inel. Motion carried by a vote of aeela ation. It was moved by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee bass that the Judges and pollee magistrates turn over the money eolleoted to the village treasurer eaoh month. The vote on this motion was as follows- Ayes: Greinke, tsaas, Haberkamp, Harrington, tiennix and Ville. Nays none. It was moved by Trustee tlaberkamp and seeonde by Trustee Greinke to adjourn the meering until, Js*r 9th for further business. Motion carried. /
