President Besander called the meeting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following Trustees were found is be presents Trustees: Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Wille. Nixmig Trustee Haas was absent. The minutes of the March meeting were read and approved on a motion made by Trustee Hennix and second of Trustee Greinke. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Harrington that the following: Treasurers report be placed on file. The motion was carried. Motion was carried. It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the following bills be paid. The same me' approved with the following vote: Ayess Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Willa. No nays. Jmes B. Clow and Sons 4 \70.34 Albert Wille Lbr. & Coal Co. 61.63 Marce F Seng IN 37.50 A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by 3 Trustee Harrington that a 50 reduction be made on business licenses if paid before June lit 1938. The motion was carried with the following vote Ayes: Greinke, Harrington, Haberkamp, Hennix and Wille. No nays. It was moved by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee Wille that the petition of the property owners located on the south side of town regarding be *alai referred to the proper Qom mittee. The motion was carried. It was regularly moved and seconded that a petters from 4 the Northwest Suburban property owners association be placed on file. Said petition regarding skating. Motion was carried. - A motion was made by Trustee Hennix and seconded by . Trustee Herrington that Mr. Beer contact the Highway department to: cheekresolution and authorize the President to approve_aaid resolution. Motion was'carried with following votes Ayes: Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Wille. Np nays. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Hennix to approve the Bond of the Pubiin Service Co. for $5000.00 11 and issued by the Seaboard Surety Co. The motion was apssed with the fallowing votes Ayes: Greinke. Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix Li and Wills. No nays. A million was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by . Trustee Greinke that an ordinance authorizing the Public Service 1 Co. of Northern Illinois, its successors and assigns to construct maintain a gas distributing system inand thru the Village of Mt Prospect. Said ordinance was passed with the following vote, Ayes: Greinke, Haberkamp, "arrington, "ennix and wills. No nays. It was moved by Trustee Hennix and seoonded by Trustee Harrington that the Mt Prospect State Bank be designeted as official depository for the funds of he Village. The motion w as carried with the following vote, yes: Greinke, naberkamp, Harrington Hennix and Wille. No nays. A motion was made by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Haberkamp to give Mr. Jenkinson permission to make streets at his own expense on George & Alberts & Busse Ave. under supervision of the street department, providing the W.P.A. project is net approved. The motion was carried by the followig vote, Ayes: Greinke, Haberkamp. Harrington, Hennix and Ville. No nays. It was moved by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee 3 Y Y Haberkamp that an ordinance providing for the issue of bonds of the Village of Mt Prospect in the sum of $10,00040 for the 14,9-0 purpose of constructing street lights and providing'`or the collection of a direct annual tax for the payment cf principal & interest on said bonds, be passed. The said ordinance was passed with the following vote, Ayess Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, hennix and "'file. No nays. • 127 It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Wille that a resolution with respect to funds to pay $10,000.00, street lighting bonds of the Village of '"'t Prospect Illinois be passed. Same was passed with the following vote, Ayest Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Wille. No nays. A motion was made by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Harrington to pay Godfrey Larson $100.00(s per his contract dated in October 1936. Motion was passed with the following vete Ayes* Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, "ennix and Wille. No nays. Considerable discussion took place regarding the $5.00 C ddposit whioh must be made by New 'patter users and it waw finnaly decided that the ordinance regarding same should not be changed. A letter received from Mr. Mott was referred to the street committee. A letter of thanks fr m the South Church was received and }laced on file. It was moved by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee JO Greinke that another registration file book be purohased.
