HELD ON THE 14TH OF APRIL 1938. • President Besander called the meeting to order at 8:35 Pm. whereby the clerk called the roll and the following Trust- ees responded present. Trustees: Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, and Wille. There being a quorum present the meeting proceeded. Due to the absence of the Village Clerk., Edwin L. Busse 'resident Besander appointed Fred Wills. to act as temporary clerk. It was moved by Trustee Wille and seconded by Trustee Harrington to purchase an eclipse Utility Special Power lawn mower with 21 r blade for the sum of was $166.0 The motions with t following vote, Ayes: Grdinke ber m carried h he Y g , y , Ha ka p, Harrington and Wille. No nays. A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the resolution heretofore passed by the 00 board in connection with the two court cases now pending, namely the automobile case and the laundry case to be handled . S> by attorney Thall, the former village attorney be reoinded and that the two cases be referred to the present acting Attorney <11 Beer, for completion. Motion was carried. It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the suit now pending against the Village and also the judgement against the village for Special assess- , ment be referred to the judicial committee to check all pay - ments of Special Assessments in the local office and *county- ' Clerks office and secure all records from the former Treasurer, Clerk and Collector. ' motion was carried. A motion was made by Trustee Wills and seconded by Trustee FV.im. Harrington to concur in the appointment by President Besander . �,41 of the following named men to act as members of the Planning Commission. Namely, John Binckly, Chairman, V. F. Weber, Albert Dresser, Henry Ehard and Paul Ward. The motion was carried. There being no further business to come before said meeting it was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Greinke that same be adjourned. Motion carried. -- • • , • . .
