HomeMy WebLinkAbout08/02/1938 VB minutes . 1417 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT 9 PROSPECT ILLINOIS, HELD ON THE . 2ND DAY OF AUGUST 1938. President Besander called the meeting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following Trustees were found to be present, Trustees: Greinke, Haberkamp, Harrington, and Wille. Trustees Haas and Henix were absent. The minutes of the July meetings were read and approved E upon a motion made by Trustee Haberkamp and second of Trustee Greinke. It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Wille that the following report of the treasurer be accepted as read. GENERAL WATEt FUND: Balance on hand last report 320.86 Receipts 1046.94 . 1367.80 Transferred tp other accounts 369.63 998.17 A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Greinke to place the special assessment report on file. The motion was carried. LI It wa, moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the following bills be paid. Busse 75.001N It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Harrington that the village sign the new agreement with the Public Service Co. accepting the new rate05. The motion was carried with the following vote Ayes: Greinke; Haberkamp, `iarrington, ane= Ville. No nays. Consi.erable discussion took place regarding the new lights and paving along the Northwest highway. Upon a motion made by Trustee Haberkamp And seconded by Trustee Harrington it was agreed that qtr. Besander be sent to Springfield to look into the matter. The motion was carried with the following vote .Ayes: Greinke, Haberkarp Harrington, and Wille. No nays. It was move by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Wille that a resolution addressed to the County Board urging the zoning of unincorporated areas, be passed Said resolution was adopted by a vote of acclamation. President Besander reported on the progress being made on the auditing of the Special Assessment records. There being no further business to come befor said meeting it was regularly moved, seconded and passed that same be adjourned. • ... 3 .
