HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/05/1938 VB minutes 151 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING 1 / OF THE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT PROSPECT ILLINOTS HELD ON THE FOURTH DAY OF OCTOBER 1938. ' President Besander called the meeting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following Trustees were found to be presents Trustees Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington, ennix and. 1111e. E , The minutes of the September meeting were read and approved. The following report of the treasurer was approved on a motion made by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Greinke. General M A 0 Fund; deficit last report 532.08 It was moved by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee Hennix that the speoial assessment report be placed on file. The motion was carried. .A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seoonded by Trustee 1111e that the village accept the proposition of the V.F. W. post 1337, regarding the planting of trees in the village. I] The motion was carried. It was moved by Trustee uennix and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the following bills be paid. No nays. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and ,seconded by Trustee Greinke to refer the letter from Mr. Roderick regarding setting up a new ledger be referre to the finance commitOittt they to have full p ower to act on the matter. The motion cried with the following vote: Ayes, Greinke, Asset, aberkam ington, ennix and Wille. No nays. Some discussion took place regarding the aud1 -t1S0 of the spec. assessment books. It was left up to Mr Besander to ie an appoint- ment with the auditor to meet with the board. It was moved by Trustee " ennix and se onded by Trustee Haas that the resolution regarding combined, curb, street lights and street signs be passed. Said resolution was paased with the foll- owing vote Ayes: Greinke, Maas, 4 aberkamp, 4 arrington, " ennix and Ville. No nays. It was moved by 'irustee Greinke. and secondee by Trustee Haas 3 to autgorize the attorney to file a petition for division of Spec. assessments on Henry Haberkamps, properties from lot 1 -10 'elusive in block 3 Ernst Russe subdivision. Motion was carried. There being no further business to come before siad meeting it was regularly moved seoonded and passed to adjourn.
