HomeMy WebLinkAbout02/07/1939 VB minutes 161 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF 7 TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT PROSPECT ILLINOIS, HELD ON FEBRUARY 7TH, 1939. President Besander called the meeting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following Trustees were found to be present- Trustees Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Mille. Trustee Greinke was absent. The minutes of the January meeting were approved as read. C It was moved by lruatee Haas and seconded by Trustee Harrington that the following report of the Treasurer be accepted. Fund 806.35 1141.35 Balance 175.00 A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Wille, that the special assessment report be accepted as read P report p the motion was carried. 4. It was moved by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Haas that the Jlerk be authorized to call an election for the pur- pose of electing three trustees. The motion was carried with the following vote Ayes: Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Wille. I] The following dates were agreei upon for the election. Feb. 17th- 1939 First date for filing peteitions. March 9th 1939 Posting or Publishing notices. March 14th 1939 Last date for filing. March 18th, 1939 Last date for withdrawel or objections. A motion was made by Trustee 7aas and seconded by Trustee Harrington that the following bills be paid. Said Gund club should be notified to discontinue shooting in the village limits at once. The motion was carried with the following vote Ayes: Haas, a aberkamp, Harringotn, Hennix and Wille. A motion was made bj Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee 'Ville that a resolution to improve the Northwest High - y , way, Main Street and central road be passed. Said notion was " passed with the following vote: Ayes: Haaa, Ha erkamp, Harrington ennix and Wille. No Nays. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Haas, that the Pwblic service contract for ornamental street lighting be approved, and the President and Clerk be authorized to sign same. The motion was carried with the following vote: Ayes: Haas, Haberkamp, ftsrrington, "ennix and Wille. No nays A motion was made by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee Haas to pay the third to the 10th installement on the Feehanville drainage district assessment amount $496.83. The Motion was carried with the following vote Ayes: Haas, Haberkamp { Harrington "ennix and Ville. No Nays. It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Hennix to borrow the following amounts as listed, and that the loan be eveidenced by notes being placed in each fund. Wee #5- $445.00- Spec. r6 $363.00- Spec. #16 $195.00 Spec. #48 776.00. The motin was carried by the following vote Ayes: Haas, Haberkamp Hal rington, Hennix and Wille. No Nays. There being no further business to come before said meeting it was regularly moved seconded & passed that same be ad- journed. 163 ADDITIONS OF MINUTES OF FEB. 7th.
