HomeMy WebLinkAbout07/11/1939 VB minutes MINUTES Or A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF 3 TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT PROSPECT ILLINOIS HELD ON JULY 12TH 1939. President Besander called the meeting to order where upon the clerk called the roll and the following trustees were found to be present. Trustees, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. Trustee Binckley was absent. The minutes of the June meeting were read and approved on a motion made by Trustee Haberkamp seconded by Trustee Greinke. The following Treasurers report was approved on a motion made by Trustee Greinke seconded by Trustee Haas. TREASURERS REPORT- GENERAL FUND: Ital. on hand last report 265.72 eceipts 2150.86 2416.58 Disbursements 2228.99 Cr Balance 187.59 W 'MATER EXTENSION FUND: Bal. on hand last report 157.41 No receipts or disb. The Special assessment report was ordered placed on file by a motion made by trustee naberkamp seconduJ by Trustee Greinke. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Ville that Xk a resolution be passed designating the Mount Prospect estate Bank and the First National Bank of Chicago as depositories for the monies of the Village of Mt Prospect. The motion was passed with the following vote. It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee '" Greinke that an ordinance prohibiting the picketing of places of bus= iness by persons who are not past, present or expectant employees of Oa the places of business being picketed. be passed. The ordinance was passed with the following votes Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No nays. Mr. Harold Willsons water problem was referred to the Fire and water committee for investi;ation they to report back to the board at the next meeting. 178 A motion was made by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Wille that an ordinance providing for the levying and assessment of 1\1 taxes for the current fiscal year of the Village of Mt Prospect, I11ind ,,IID commencing May 1st, 1939 and ending April 30th, 1940, be passed.
