HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/03/1939 VB minutes 185 MINUETS OF A REGULAR MEETING OP THE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT PROSPECT ILLINOIS, HELD ON OCTOBER 3RD, 1939. President Besander called the meeting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following trustees were found to be present, Trustees Binkley, lreinke, Haas, tortimer and Ville. Trustee Haberkamp was absent. The. minutes of the September meeting were approved on a motion made by Trustee Binkley which was seconded by Trustee Greinke. The following report of the treasurer was approved on a motion made by Trustee Greinke which was seconded by Trustee Mortimer, Treasurers Heport- GENERAL FUND: Bal. on hand last report $ 585.96 Receipts 918.01 1503.97 Disbursements 1227.98 W Bal. 275.99 cri _ VEHICLE TAX & ROAD & BRIDGE TAX FUND: Bal. on hand last report 367.84 Bete ipts 220.88 532.72 Disbursements 327.46 Bal. 261.26 /TER EXTENSION FUND: Balance an hand last report 157.41 No receipts or disb. OLD WATER FUND: Bal. on hand last report 350.00 No receipts or disb. A motion wwas mad by Trustee Wille and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the Special assessment report be placed on file. The motion was passed. It was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the clerk be authorized to the 1940 vehicle license tags stock #2 at 7% each, and that 25% be deducted from the bill due to 1: the defects in the 19 • _a.nse= • —fount to be purchased was as follow-=g 1 , 5 trucks ; 5 dealers The motion was car ied with th .wing .b - .es: •, nkley, Haas, Mortimer and Wille, no nays. A motion was made by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Greinke that the following bills be paid. The motion was carried with the following vote Ayes: Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Mortimer and Wille. Heintz 82.00 Fred Kloske 12.00 It was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee that the Judiciary committee be authorized to pay 50% of the cape ses in regards to getting a complete delin;luent general tax list of the property in the village of Mt Prospect. The motion was :tarried with the following; vote, Ayes: Binkley, Greinke. Haas, Mortimer and Wille. No nays. A motion was made by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee Wille. to hire Mr. Roderick to audit the WAter books as per the .A. agreement forthe sum of $70.00.The motion was carried with the f ol1ow8 vote, Ayes Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Mortimer and Wine. No nays. It was moved by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee Haas to have the Health and drainage committee have the wtare and wells tested also the reservoir. The motion was carried with the following vote Ayes: Binkley, Greinke, Ha as m Mortimer and Wille. There being nor further business to come before said meeting it was regularly moved seconded and passed to adjourn. — , :1
