MINUTES
CLOSED SESSION
JUNE 10, 2008
The meeting was convened at 835 p.m., in the third floor Executive Conference Room
of Village Hall, 50 South Emerson, by Mayor Irvana Wilks. Those present at the Closed
Session were: Trustees John Korn, Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Arlene Juracek,
and Michael Zadel. Also present was Village Manager Michael Janonis.
Land Acquisition Discussion
Village Manager Michael Janonis reviewed leased terms of that would be presented
to the owner of Tuccio's who currently operates a concession stand in the downtown
Metra train station. The current lease is set to expire by the end of this month. After a
brief discussion it was the consensus of the Village Board members that a one year
extension lease be offered to the owner of Tuccio's under the terms presented.
L Personnel Discussion
Mayor Wilks opened discussion regarding the replacement of Trustee Richard
Lohrstorfer in the wake of his resignation from the Village Board on Friday June 6, 2008.
Mayor Wilks went around the table asking individual Board members their thoughts and
whether they had any potential candidates. Various names were offered up. After some
A discussion it was agreed by all that each would consider the names put forward as well
as other potential candidates that might come to mind. The Mayor asked that each
CE Board member forward to her attention their two most preferred candidates. Then she
✓ would take those names under consideration.

Q o There was some discussion regarding future meetings schedules and when an
appointment might be offered publicly for consideration by the Village Board.
Trustee Tim Corcoran announced to those present his intention to resign his position
due to material changes in his employment status.
No further items were discusses and on a motion by Trustee Zadel and seconded by
Trustee Korn Closed Session ended at 9:19 p. .
