CLOSED SESSION
DECEMBER 12, 2006
The meeting was convened at 8:16 p.m., in the third floor Executive Conference Room of
Village Hall, 50 South Emerson, by Mayor lrvana Wilks. Those present at the Closed Session
were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, John Korn, Richard Lohrstorfer, Michaele
Skowron and Michael Zadel. Trustee Corcoran arrived at 8:47 p.m. Staff present included
Village Manager Michael Janonis, Assistant Village Manager David Strahl and Community
Development Director William Cooney.
Motion made by Trustee John Korn and Seconded by Trustee Richard Lohrstorfer to move into
Closed Session. The purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Land Acquisition and

Village Manager Janonis requested the Village Board authorize some anticipatory hires for the
Police Department due to several Officers soon to be processed on disability and the need to
r 1 get the replacements scheduled for Academy training.

Q Assistant Village Manager Strahl provided a summary of a 401A Plan and a discussion
regarding a salary study took place.
