JUNE 13, 2006
The Closed Session began at 9:30 p.m., in the third floor Executive Conference Room of Village
Hall, 50 South Emerson. Those in attendance were: Mayor lrvana Wilks, Trustees Timothy
Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, John Korn, Richard Lohrstorfer, Michaele Skowron and Michael Zadel.
Also present was Village Manager Michael Janonis. The purpose of the Closed Session was to
discuss Personnel.
Personnel
E 1 Village Manager Michael Janonis discussed with Board members certain performance concerns
relating to the conduct of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners' duties and
responsibilities. Difficulties in obtaining quorums especially with regard to new hire oral
interviews were making the establishment of an eligibility list difficult. Village Board members
discussed the importance of an efficiently functioning BOFPC and asked the Manager to consult
LA ' with the Police and Fire Chiefs regarding any recommendations for change with regard to the
i membership, role or size of the BOFPC.
No further discussion took place the Closed Session was adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
