The meeting convened at 9:24 p.m. by Mayor Wilks, in the Village Hall Executive Conference Room,
50 South Emerson Street. The purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Property Acquisition
and Litigation. Present were: Trustees Paul Hoefert, John Korn, Richard Lohrstorfer and Michaele
Skowron. Absent from the Closed Session were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran and Michael Zadel.
Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis, Assistant Village Manager David Strahl
and Village Attomey Everette Hill.

illage Manager Janonis provided the Village Board an update regarding Miller vs. Village of Mount
d rospect. He stated this Case is a result of a CDBG Loan assistance program and alleged damage
ig o the foundation of a home. He stated a settlement has been reached between the contractor and
°' a homeowner and the Village has been released from the Case, however, the Village did incur
Q egal fees related to the defense of this Case.

4 Village Manager Janonis also provided information to the Village Board regarding potential litigation
°. 0 regarding consideration of disabled public safety employees applying for the Public Safety Employee
Benefit Act benefits.
