CLOSED SESSION
JUNE 21, 2005
The meeting convened at 7:45 p.m. by Mayor Wilks, in the Village Hall Executive Conference Room,
50 South Emerson Street. The purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss Property Acquisition,
Personnel and Litigation. Present were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Michaele
Skowron, and Michael Zadel. Absent from the Closed Session was Trustee John Korn. Staff
rn present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village Manager David Strahl.

MO Village Manager Janonis wanted to inform the Board that he would like to offer the Village Clerk
gt position to Lisa Angell and requested any comments from the Village Board regarding this

u Assistant Village Manager Strahl provided an update regarding the Tower Inn at the comer of
Algonquin and Elmhurst Roads. He stated that there is a Court Order pending that orders the hotel

d closed as of June 24 and has charged the Village with enforcing the Court Order. This Court Order
12 I has arisen out of a lengthy litigation battle with the Village regarding installation of sprinkler systems
within the facility.
