CLOSED SESSION
FEBRUARY 15, 2005
The Closed Session was called to order at 10:13 p.m., by Mayor Farley, in the Village Hall Executive
Conference Room, 50 South Emerson Street. The purpose of the Closed Session was to discuss
Litigation and Personnel. Present were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Richard
Lohrstorfer, Michaele Skowron, and Irvana Wilks. Absent from the Closed Session was Trustee
Michael Zadel. Staff present included: Village Manager Michael Janonis, Assistant Village Manager
i avid Strahl, Police Chief Richard Eddington and Village Attorney Everette Hill.

CE illage Manager Janonis provided an overview of a letter threatening litigation resulting from police
ction with the offer of settlement to dispose the case. He stated that based on his review of the
ircumstances and the potential cost of defense, a settlement might be in order.

=Consensus of the Village Board was to offer a settlement in the amount of $25,000 to a
Patrick Martin.
