This motion carried by acclamation. Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Phillips, moved that Village- Robert Swanson, architect for the new fire station, be engaged re- owned garding eren=ion of Village garage; that he should be asked for recom- property mendatinns on expansion in the foreseeable future, which is roughly estimated at 50% over present equipment volume; that his recommendation should consider the economics of reasonable requirements and include cost estimates of~ both construction and fees~ that he he asked submit these recommendations to the Board prior to March 17, which is the scheduled date for the sale of the generalobligation bonds. Haberkamp vs Trustee Ekren, seconded by Trustee Phillips, moved that Village Richard Babcock, associate of AtTorney Jack Siegel, be engaged by the 6~ L 1877 Village as special counsel for the defense in Court case of Haherkamp vs Village (6~-Lt1877). February 18, 196~ harity Trustee Bruhl, seconded by T~ustee Busse, moved that upon request of the Combined Appeal, the dates'of 0etcher 9-19, 196~ be set aside for the annual fund drive in the Village. This motion carried by acclamation. President Schlaver appointed Dr. Homer Perker as Health Health Officer of the Mount Prospect Board. of Health, and aeked for the concurrence of the Board. Trustee Caeterline, seconded by Trustee Ekren, moved To concur in the above appointment. This motion carz~ied b~ acclamation. Trustee Ekren explained that Judge Stoffels, of the Courts Third District Court, asked to be allowed To hold court in Mount Prospect for three days instead of the present two days, and moved, seconded by Trustee Phillips, that this court he granted permission to hold its hemmings in the ¢oumr~oom for three days per week. This motion cerried by acclamation. Village owned Manager Appleby explained tha~ the intense use of the Village property Hall put Too great strain upon the janitor service, and asked that he be allowed to hire ex:re help part time to take care of this matter. Tmustee Bruhl asked that this be referred to the Finance Committee; President Schlaver asked .the Finance Committee To work out an arrangement wither.
