T~stee Ek~en~ seconded by T~ustee Phillips, moved for the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting of November 26th as amended, minutes Upon roll call: Ayes:, Bergen Biekley B~uhl Ek~en Phillips Absent: Casterline Motion carried, Trustee Bruhl~ seconded by T~ustee Bergen, moved for approval of the following bills: bills General $ 481.20 Waterworks & Sewerage 1,046.93 Waterworks ~ Sewerage Acquis. & Constr. 465.81 $2,003.94 Upon roll call: Ayes: Bergen Bickley B~uhl Ekren Phillips Absent: Casterline Motion carried. T~us~ee Phillips, seconded by Trustee Bickley, ~oved ~hat %he following three items be included inan ordinance to Fire House be prepared by ~he Village Attorney for proposed referendum: RefePendum 1. Fire Dept. building, Architect's fees and land costs $200,000 2. Fire Equipment lS0~000 3. Referred to Finance Commi=tee: Survey 9f phone system Village Hall in municipal buildings by Illinois Bell, together with memo from telephone the Village Manager. Trus=ee Bergen referred to house at 310 Hatlen which Bldg. has been built over a peat hoE; Engineer HemmeZer stated that this DecembeP 3, 1963 house could be saved if supports and repairs were undertaken soon; that this house has a possible purchaser, who is in this line of work. This matter was kept in Building Committee. President Schlaver asked Attorney Hofert to res%une his Bldg. actions regarding Serafine's building repairs on East Lincoln, as work on this building has stopped again. T~ustee Bickley reported that delivery of two new Plymouth Police squad cars to replace Ca~s 125 and 126 is to be made soon, and recommendedthat measures be started at this time to acquire two others to replace Cars 123 and 127 which will have reached their mileage limits in a short time. Trustee Bickley, seconded by T~ustee Bruhl, mo~ed that advertisement for bids be made to reDlace Cars 123 and 127 in ac- cordance with the same specifications as for Cars 125 and 126. This motion carried by aco3~ation. T~ustee Casterline arrived at 8:39 P.M. Mar~Eer Appleby referred to letter from the March of Charity Dimes and asked if there was any objection to street corner collec- tion being made on January 4th. The Board indicated no objection. T~ustee Ekren left the meeting at 8:40. P~esident Schlaver asked Attorney Hofert to look into the Attorney rumor that all traffic cases will be prosecuted by the States At- torney and fines ~o go to the Co%mty unless the Village adopts State traffic ordinances as part of their ow~.
