RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Cook County pro-
pose to construct automatic controlled grade crossing protect-
ion at the Main Street crossing of Chicag and North Western
Railroad tracks and
WHEREAS, it is essential to co- ordinate the stop and go traffic
lights at Northwest Highway and Main Street with the crossing
protection.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Mount Prospect does hereby
notify the Honorable Board of Commissioners of monk County that
the necessary steps will be taken to erect Stop and Go lights
that can be interlocked with the automatic crossing controls,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village of Mount Prospect
expresses its sincere appreciation to the Honorable Board of
Commissioners of Cook County for the consideration shown Village.
APPROVED and passed by the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect at its regular meeting, held on the third day of
March 1942, at Mount Prospect, Illinois
