HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 09/05/1944 • RESOLUTION SALE OF 1944 TAX ANTICIPATION IARRANTS WHEREAS, Barcus, Kindred & Co., and Enyart, Van Camp & Co., Inc. has agreed to purchase not more than 314,000.00 of 1944 general corporate fund tax anticipation warrants bearing interest at the rate of One and Five - eighth percent (1 -5/8 %) and to pay for said warrants par, plus premium of Fifty Cents (.50) per $1,000.00 tax warrant and accrued interest from August 15, 1944; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV ,by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the sale to Barcus, Kindred & Co., and Enyart, Van Camp & Co., Inc. of $7,000.00 of 1944 general corporate fund tax anticipation warrants, being numbered C -1 to C -14 inclusive, bearing interest at the rate of One and Five - eighth percent (1-5/8%) at pair and accrued interest from August 15, 1944, be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed, AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that delivery of said tax anticipation warrants be made pursuant to the terms of an ordinance entitled "An ordinance providing for the issuance of 1944 tax anticipation warrants of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois," passed and approved on the first day of August, A.D., 1944. Approved and passed by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, at a regular meeting, held on the 5 day of ZL %yic_ A.D., 1944.
