HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 01-46 01/08/1946 / 1 • RESOLUTION N9 )-46 WfEREAS, the State of Illinois under Senate Bill 303, (here- inafter called the Act) has appropriated funds to the State Depart- ment of Finance to be expended pursuant to allocations to Counties, Munloipalities, School Districts, Spnita.ry Districts and Park Districts through the recommendations of the Illinois Post -War Planning Commission (hereinafter designated as "Commission ") for the purpose of defraying a portion of the cost of preparation of engineering surveys, engineering or architectural designs, working and detailed drawings, specifications, estimates of cost, and re- ports required for specific post -war public works projects; and WHEREAS, the k. VILLAGE OF MT. PROSPECT , (here - (applicant's legal name) inafter designated as "Local Agency ") desires to apply for an allot- ment to defray a portion of the cost of preparing the plans, speci- fications, end studies for the hereinafter particular project end there has been prepared and presented to this Governmental Body for consideration an application for such purpose; and Wf1L1EAS, Local Agency has provided or will make available the balance of the funds to prepare the completed plans, specifications and studies for the hereinafter particular pro :ect; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency approve, the aforesaid application and that it be submitted to the Commission requesting an allotment of NINE HUNDRED FORTY-PTVF Dollars (ti. 945.00 ) or for such amount as may be recommended by the Commission in accordance with the provisions of the Act for - 1 - OP the particular project to be undertaken by Local Agency and here- with designated as WATER SOFTENING PLANT BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the estiaited cost of preparing such plans, specifications, and studies, subsequent to July 20, 1945, is ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY Dollars ($ 1890.00 ), and that Local Agency has made provision for financing and will pay the portion of the cost of preparing such plans, specifications, and studies that will not be covered by the allotment as finally determined by the Commission: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for the purposes of such applica- tion MAURICE B. PENDLETON VILLAGE PRESIDENT Name, Title - be and hereby is designated as the authorized agent of Local Agency and is hereby authorized and directed to sign the above mentioned application on behalf of Local Agency and submit the same to the Commission together with supporting data and such other information as may be required; and said agent i :j further authorized and directed as the representative of Local Agency to conclude all arrangements which may be necessary to secure disbursement for the State's share of the expenditure in preparing said completed plans, specifications, and studies.
