No. io * * * * * WHEREAS, ordinances have heretofore been adopted providing for the construction of certain water, sewer, sidewalk and paving improvements in portions of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook ;County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, special assessments were levied to pay the cost of said work and pursuant to the Statute applicable thereto said im- provements were constructed and the report of cost and completion was approved in manner and form provided by law; and WHEREAS, certain installments of said special assessments levied against individual lots have not been paid and are now past due and delinquent; and WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees find that it will be for the best interests of the Village that said special ;assessment liens be foreclosed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois; Section 1. That the special assessment liens against the ;following described real estate, to -wit: Lots l to 18, both inclusive, in Block 25; Lots 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 in Block 26; in Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision being a subdivision of the South East quarter of Section 11, and the South 15 acres of the East half of the North East quarter of said Section 11, in Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd P.M., be foreclosed. Section 2. That the attorney for the Village of Mount Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prosecute said fore - closure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate with the States Attorney of Cook County in procuring the foreclosure of the lien lof general taxes on said lots, if any there be, and this Board re- quests the States Attorney to foreclose; and to cooperate with the ;officials of the Weller Creek Drainage or any other district in procuring the foreclosure of the lien of drainage benefit assess - ments upon said lots, if any there be, and this Board hereby re- quests said Drainage Districts to foreclose; that said attorney for the Village is hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to join in any suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the States lAttorney to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such } 'other steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of said (property to satisfy said liens. Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 27th day of March, 1946. APPROVED this 27th day of Marc946. )
