HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 20-46 06/04/1946 RESOLUTION NO. 20 -46 WHEREAS, The Superintendent of Highways of and for Cook County, Illinois, has submitted plans for the improvement of a highway known as Lincoln Street, within the corporate limits of the Village of Mt. Prospect, and WHEREAS, The improvement of said highway serves the public conven- ience and necessity, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, that the said plans be and they are hereby approved; that the County of Cook be and is hereby authorized and empowered to pro- ceed with the work of construction in accordance with said plans, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the County of Cook be and it is hereby relieved and discharged of any and all liability for any and all damages to property, and for any and all damage done to or sustained by the pave- ments within the Village by reason of the detouring of traffic, or the hauling of material, or from any other cause incident to the improvement of the highway aforesaid. Approved and passed by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of June, 1946, at Mount Prospect, Illinois. RECEIPT OF.
