A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE
EXTENSION OF THE SANITARY DIS-
TRICT OF CHICAGO TO INCLUDE THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILL.
WITHIN ITS BOUNDARIES. No. 3% -46
WHEREAS it has been brought to the attention of the
Village Board of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, that the citizens of said Village are desirous of
having the Village of Mount Prospect included within the boun-
daries of the Chicago Sanitary District; and
WHEREAS. being a part of the Chicago Sanitary District
would prove of considerable benefit to the Village of Mount
Prospect in providing better sewage disposal and water supply;

and
WHEREAS. the Board feels that such proceedings should
be instituted, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, hereby
recommend the proposal that the Village of Mount Prospect be
included within the boundaries of the Chicago Sanitary District.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the State
Senator and a copy to each of the three representatives of this
Senatorial District.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
