A RESOLUTION TO THE COUNTY BOARD
OF COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, REGARD-
ING TAX FORECLOSURES.
WHEREAS, n^any applications are being made to the County
Board of Cook County for the foreclosure of the lien of general
taxes on delinquent and forfeited real estate within the Village
of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois; and
WHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees of said
Village are in accord with such procedure to restore delinquent
properties to the tax rolls; and
WHEREAS. the Prg and Board of Trustees find that
only vacant propertrbe considered for such foreclosure with a
minimum guaranteed bid of not less than 35% of the principal
sought to be foreclosed;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
(BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That recuest is hereby made of the Board of
of the County of Cook, Illinois that only vacant
' property be considered for the extinguishment of the lien of
l'Igeneral taxes by foreclosure.
Section 2. That the President and Board of Trustees
request the board of Commissioners of Cook County not to consider
or accept any offer on vacant property at a guaranteed bid of
Mess than 35% of the principal sought to be foreclosed.
Section 3. That no recuest for the foreclosure of im-
proved property within the limits of the Village of Mount Prospect
l be considered for the foreclosure of tax liens.
Section 4. That a certified copy of this Resolution be
forwarded to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Cook
and State of Illinois.
Section 5. That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to
law.
