RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE CONSTRUCTION
OF CHIMNEYS AND THE APPROVAL THEREOF BY
THE BUILDING COMMITTEE. NO. 10-47

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mount Prospect Building Committee
to clarify Chapter VII of the Mount Prospect Building Code, pertaining
to the construction of chimneye, and,
WHEREAS, in order to avoid future misinterpretation of said Build-
ing Code,
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED by the President and the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the Building Committee be and they are hereby
authorized to approve chimneys constructed of approved masonry or reinforced
concrete only. .
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect forth-
with upon its adoption.
PASSED: this 8th day of July, 1947.
APPROVED: this 8th day of July 1947.
