I� + RESOLUTION PROTESTING THE INCREASE TN SUBUR TELEPHONE TOLL CHARGES No 11-47 WHERFAS. it has been brought to the attention of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Pros - pect that the Illinois Commerce Commission has granted an in- crease in telephone charges; and WHEREAS it appears that the rates allowed are unrea- sonable, unfair, discriminatory and tend to be inflationary insofar as they affect suburban communities; NOW, THEP1 FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLTNOTS: SECTION 1. That the President and board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect hereby protests the unreasonable, unfair and inflationary charges allowed to be charged for. Subur- ban telephone toll calls. SECTION 2. That the Illinois Commerce Commission is requested to review the matter and revise the rates in accordance with law and justice. SECTION 3. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Illinois Commerce Commission with the .r.ec!uest that con- sideration be given to have an equitable adjustment of the rates, insofar as they effect suburban calls. SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect forthwith upon its adoption. PASSED: this day of July, 1947. APPROVED: this 8th day of July, 1947. it
