RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSAL
OF THE BOARD OF LIBRARY DIRECTORS
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LIBRARY
BUILDING AND PROVIDING FURNISHINGS
AND EQUIPMENT THEREFOR. NO . c / _ " q
WHEREAS_ the Board of Library Directors of the Village
of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, has submitted to the
Village Board of said Village a record of its proceedings and
resolutions in connection with the construction of a library
building and providing furnishings and equipment therefor at a
cost of $35,000.00 and has requested that bonds be issued in
said amount payable over a period of twenty (20) years with in-
terest not in excess of four per cent (4 %) per year and has
submitted plans; and
WHEREAS. it appears to the Village Board from an exam-
ination of said proceedings, that said plans would be for the
best interests of the citizens of said Village of Mount Prospect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That the proceedings and resolutions of the
Board of Library Directors be approved and accepted and made a
part of the records of this meeting.
SECTION 2. That the question of issuance of bonds in
the amount of $35,000.00 for the purpose of financing the cost
of said improvement be submitted to the electors of the Village
at a special election to be held in the said Village.
SECTION 3. That the Village Attorney is authorized and
directed to prepare ordinances providing for the issuance of

said bonds and for the submission of such proposition to the
electors of the Village.
